Amazon announced a new adult-animated anthology series coming to Prime Video with original stories set within the worlds of a number of popular video games.
“Secret Level” will feature 15 episodes from both new game titles and classics such as “PAC-MAN” and “Dungeons & Dragons.”
The series, which will premier Dec. 10, is a collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio, the animation studio behind Netflix’s animated anthology “Love, Death + Robots.”
Games that inspired the 15 stories include: “Armored Core,” “Concord,” “Crossfire,” “Dungeons & Dragons,” “Exodus,” “Honor of Kings,” “Mega Man,” “New World: Aeternum,” “PAC-MAN,” PlayStation (highlighting various PlayStation Studios entities), “Sifu,” “Spelunky,” “The Outer Worlds,” “Unreal Tournament,” and “Warhammer 40,000.”
The announcement Tuesday was made during the Gamescom opening night global livestream.
